CoSyDat eMail-Checker The CoSyDat eMail-Checker can be used to check, manually or automatically at the backdrop, a POP3 eMail server for waiting eMail. If eMail are waiting, this will be signalled by a sound and by blinking of a symbol at the symbol tray of Windows. When CoSyDat eMail-Checker is running offline, the check will be performed hidden by going online, checking and signalising. The check can be done automatically in a free defined time interval. Manually multiple POP3 eMail Server can be checked. The reaction from eMail-Checker, if waiting eMail are available can be predefined like, Individual reaction as required, opening the eMail-Checker and displaying the waiting eMail or opening the CoSyDat Mail-Manager (if installed) and downloading the waiting mail and showing a list of new eMail. A manually query of the eMail server can be performed by downloading the header list of waiting eMail,

CoSyDat eMail-Checker decision how to handle the individual eMail (copying, download, delete or do nothing), downloading and opening the CoSyDat Mail-Manager and displaying a list of new eMail or if used stand-alone, opening by the eMail client registered by the system for mail files (*.eml) or printout as draft. The CoSyDat eMail-Checker is designed as supplementary tool for the CoSyDat Mail-Manager but can also be used stand-alone. In co-operation with the Mail-Manager the eMail-Checker shares all actual settings with the Mail-Manger. The eMail-Checker as stand-alone application, without uses a file "Dummy.SET". The file can be edited using an ASCII editor to fill in the data for a single POP3 server.
